Ice Cream Parlor and Old Country Store

In the summer of 2009, the Old Fire Barn (so called) was transformed into an Old Fashion Ice Cream Parlor, featuring Maine's famous Gifford's Ice Cream. Eventually this building will be molded into an Old Country Store look with Penny Candy, Cheeses, Ice Cream, Cookies, Pickles and Maine made canning goods will be featured. You can sit up at the Ice Cream Bar and order Fresh Squeezed Lemonade, Milk Shakes, Frappes, Floats, or avail yourself of the ice cream parlor chairs and tables, or sit outside on the park benches and enjoy the day. This building is up and coming and will make everyone smile when completed with it's old cabinets, stools and counters bringing you back in time. So even if it's raining or 90 degrees out we can open the 10x12 foot glass doors and enjoy the day eating ice cream.
