Beeswax Ornaments and Plaques
Beeswax Ornaments and Plaques (Made On-Site)
Molding and carving beeswax is an ancient European art. For centuries it was a custom to decorate at Christmas with beeswax ornaments using available butter/cookie or chocolate baking utensils to mold this natural substance. There are ornaments in German Museums collected throughout Europe that are over 300 years old.
Beeswax is a renewable resource which is replenished yearly when the bees construct new honeycomb for storing honey and pollen. Once the honey is harvested, the wax is then gathered and purified for use in candles and ornaments. Essentially inert, beeswax lasts as near to forever as a life substance can.
This product is producted here on site by Anne using over 300 molds she has collected over the years. The pictures will tell the rest of the story.
